TOWN OF STANTON ORDINANCE #1

CONTENTS
CONTROL AND LICENSE OF DOGS

1.1 Authority: Granted under State Statute Chapter 173 and State Statute 174 and is hereby adopted by reference.

1.2 Purpose:     

1. To protect the health and safety of animals and humans

2. To protect property

3. To minimize public nuisances

4. To maintain harmony among neighbors

1.3 Scope: All dogs residing or located within the Town with actions limited to those provided in State Statute 173 and State Statute 174.

1.4 Fees: To be set by Dunn County as per. State Law; collected by the Town Clerk-Treasurer

1.5 Enforcement: Town Officials and Dunn County Sheriff’s Department.

1.6 Effective Date: July 13, 1981
