Blacktop will hopefully start in October.

Salt/Sand will be ready next month, we will ask DKS to help haul for us.

House wrap (large amount of plastic), barb wire and fence post were in the recycle bin. Hauler for GFL was getting it out of the dumpster.

Tire on tractor had a flat, Farm Country Tire came out and put a tube in it.

Chairman Report: Karl talked with Meg Wittenmeyer (Bifrost Farms) and Dunn Co. Zoning, they already have a permit because of the cheese production they had.  They will have to keep in contact with Dunn County, so far they have been doing what has needed to be done. Meg is planning to come to a meeting at some point to discuss their plans.

Supervisors Report: Nick talked to one of his coworkers about the crosses marked on the roads in our township.  They are for aerial photos and they use them for aligning their photos.

Melissa contacted JB Systems to get an update. Our current website is down already, Val will get them some needed info for the new website.

Josh with Rolling Hills Equine contacted Melissa about a liquor license and wondering about getting one.  There is a lot of “tape” for Rolling Hills to go thru, discussion will continue after more questions are answered.

Clerk-Treasurer Report:  Patrick Olson, Glenwood City School District Administrator will be attending our October meeting to discuss their referendum coming up on the ballot in November.

Building Permits: Steven Buyett-waiting for final; Patrick Smith, no progress

Committee Reports: Fire District-meeting was a few weeks ago.  Final budget from 2025 was given out. Approved the 2027 budget, still pretty much the same as last year.  Assessment slightly increased (+$300).

Ambulance District-staffing has increased. Discussion on policies. EMS Chief posting has gone out and will run for 4 weeks. Job description has been finalized.

New Business:  Ordinance Review—Ordinance #7 Recycling needs to be amended to state new bag price.

Meeting adjourned at 7pm.
