Maintenance Report: None Chairman Report: Would like to have a helper for Kevin, board members will be thinking on this to see who we could ask. Person does have to have a CDL to operate the truck. Supervisors Report: Bob mentioned PR&D will be changing some of the zoning language. County will be having a meeting that Bob and Rich will attend. Clerk-Treasurer Report: Picked up completed 2017 audit materials. Wipfli is willing to do our 2018 audit for $4,100. Motion to have Wipfli do the 2018 audit was made by B. Anderson, 2nd S. Nielsen. Approved. Never heard anything from our website hosts but am assuming they received my letter stating we didn’t want to continue service with them as they have deleted the website. Steve will have his son get in touch will Val as Mike is willing to do this for the township. Plan Commission Report: None Fire/Ambulance Report: Sent out bids for the new station, they will be opened on the 13th of March. We will combine the March meeting for residents to come and hear about the fire hall. Residental meeting will begin at 6pm with regular town board meeting immediately following. Building Permits: Mike Malean-received occupancy on 2/9/19 Ryan Ullom-no further progress from last month William Manwarren-getting closer to occupancy New Business: Jeff White (Rural Insurance) here to discuss township insurance policies. Blanket coverage for town shop and salt/shed, along with all items under the $2,000 mark. All equipment is covered. Not much for changes on the coverage we have. For Workers Comp, Val will make sure to notate all part time employees (helpers for Kevin, Roll off day helpers). All officers of the board have a policy for any liability that may occur while serving Town of Stanton. Rick Geisen (Bremer Bank) here to discuss fire hall financing for Boyceville. Stanton Township is responsible for 21% of the new fire hall. We would like to have a meeting with residents so they know exactly what the cost will be. Rick said it is in our best interest to borrow our cost of the fire hall, it will save us in the long run. We can go up to a 20 year term, with 10 years being fixed. Banker does not believe it will require a referendum but he will confirm this process. Rick is more than willing to come back for any residential meeting we have.
