Maintenance Report: Road bans will come off in our township on Thursday, the 23rd.

Kevin called the Hwy. Dept to get a price on overlay on 280th and Knapp would like to do an overlay (to fill in the ruts) on our joint road.  He is still waiting to hear from them.

They came and got the town truck, it was a cam shaft leveling sensor, seems to be running alright now.  Nick shared the Barron County pricing on road work costs.

Chairman Report: Karl wanted to verify that he is sending the supervisors enough info as things happen.

Board of Review training needs to be done by at least one member every year.  Val will have the book ready for someone to read and sign off on.

Karl talked about ordinances we have on file, we will need to create an ordinance and sign that we are now a wet township as of April 2026.

Supervisors Report: Melissa looked into Dunn County townships on their alcohol licensing. Many classes of licensing and fees associated with those. Alcohol Beverage Regulations and Licensing webinar is taking place beginning of May.  Val will pay the $40 for this and they will send me a recording of the webinar and the board will watch it together to get some answers.

Melissa suggested we update our website.  Should be more helpful to new residents. Currently is pretty basic with board members and numbers, notices, minutes…

Nick brought up the fire inspection ordinance that we talked about last month.  An ordinance needs to be passed with the fire district that will allow them to only do fire inspections once per year, instead of twice. Nick will ask what buildings they inspect in our township.

Bridge on 810th and County Rd. Q will be worked on by Larson Construction.  They will start end of April and finish up in July.  There will be no detour.

County sprays ditches on state roads for noxious weeds and broadleaf growth.  Maybe we could get a price, they say its cheaper than mowing.

Clerk-Treasurer Report:  Got an email from Eileen Flatten, she would like to have a “Children at Play” sign put on their road. We cannot do this as a township as we would become liable should anything happen.

Upcoming Aerial Treatment for Spongy Moth will be taking place in Dunn County. Residents in or near  treatment sites can expect to see loud, low flying planes.

Building Permits:  Been a pretty light month, a few waiting on final, nothing new.

Committee Reports: Fire-no action.  Ambulance-met last night, couldn’t go into closed session as the lawyer wasn’t there.  They have rescheduled the meeting for tomorrow night.
