Maintenance Report: Kevin isn’t here tonight, Karl says he and Kevin got the culvert replaced by Kenny Larson’s place. Kevin got a hold of the guy who did the arm mowing last time for us, his tractor was destroyed however he would like to get another one, just not sure on the timing.  Red Cedar township has an arm mower that we could possibly borrow if need be.

Chairman Report: Steve has been in contact with Tim Wyss, see public comment.

Supervisors Report: Township of Bloomer in Chippewa County has a boom mower for sale on a 2355 John Deere. It is sitting in their shop yard with a for sale sign.  Nick will stop or call as he goes by there at least once a week, he will check into it and let the board know.  Nick and Karl went to the Dunn County WTA meeting. Some discussion on the Emergency Plans for the county.

Karl has not heard or seen any activity from Mittlestadt on the culvert issue.  Originally he said he would take care of it. Wondering if we should set a date on when he needs to have it done or if Karl should just talk with him and let the board know next month.  Karl has also spoken with Tammy Traxler on the Rolling Hills Equine issue, she has emailed them but hasn’t heard anything back yet.

Question on whether or not the Fire District has adopted a code of conduct yet?  They have a meeting to look at the preliminary budget on September 10th, our board members would like to be able to look at this budget before we approve anything. Nick will check with Lee Kegen to see when they plan to approve the budget, will it be approved in September or October?

Karl will listen in on the zoom meeting for LRIP.

Clerk-Treasurer Report: We should set up a tentative roll off day as I had a call asking when it would be.  We will shoot for October 11th, making sure it’ll work for Kevin and GFL Enviromental.

Committee Reports: None

No New Business

Public Comment: Tim Wyss is here to discuss the Brookside Cemetery.  It is a 1 acre piece located in the Town of Stanton.  Nan Lewis currently owns this acre.  Tim stated that Nan is willing to gift this cemetery parcel to the township. Steve brought up his concern with this costing the township money as we would have to have a certified survey map to have the boundary lines identified.  Also this would be a concern as to what this could lead to with the public, being that it would belong to the municipality. Before we would do anything the town would need to look into what the statutes are.

Motion to adjourn meeting was made by N. Schaff, 2nd by K. Hackbarth.  Approved.

Meeting adjourned at 7:37pm
