Board meeting minutes of April 15, 2025
Chairman Nielsen called the meeting to order at 6pm at the Stanton Town Shop, Knapp, WI.
Present: Chairman Nielsen, Supervisors Karl Hackbarth and Nick Schaff, Maintenance Kevin Finder, Clerk-Treasurer Val Windsor

Motion to approve March 18, 2025 minutes as written was made by K. Hackbarth, 2nd by S. Nielsen. Approved.
Treasurer’s Report: Balance on hand, March 1, 2025 $73,710.76
March Receipts $2,515.36
Less March Disbursements $37,849.27
Book Balance as of March 31, 2025 $38,376.85
Motion to approve Treasurer’s Report as mailed was made by S. Nielsen, 2nd by N. Schaff. Approved.
Motion to approve Vouchers and Checks was made by K. Hackbarth, 2nd by N. Schaff. Approved.
Maintenance Report: Roll off is set for April 26th. Talked to a resident about garbage again. Road bans in our township will come off on April 28, 2025.
Chairman Report: Received an email about the Municipal Financial Report Form due in May. Val takes care of this every year.
Supervisors Report: Some discussion on the various cemeteries in our township.
Clerk-Treasurer Report: Talked to resident who dumped his garbage in the roll off dumpster last fall, he was quite unhappy about being an “upstanding citizen” and still being charged for the roll off. I tried explaining that it is not a free service, everyone pays…I encouraged him to come to the meeting tonight and express his concerns to the board.
Building Permits: Received an April report from Joe Atwood. Tom Traxler, new home, waiting on final inspection. Jason Stalker, insulation passed. Ryon Mallory, rough construction passed. Mike Lagerstrom, applied to build an addition.
Committee Reports: No ambulance meeting this month, all financials sent look fine.

Road Inspection: Board and Kevin did road inspection today. We have $50,000 budgeted for roads this year. Discussion included seal coating on part of 770th. Culverts on 950th. Rock needs to be done on the shared road with Sherman, Kevin will get with them to see if it is something they can do this year.

Went over line items of monies spent in 2024.
