Board Meeting minutes of May 20, 2024

Chairman Nielsen called the meeting to order at 6pm at the Stanton Town Shop, Knapp, WI.

Present:  Chairman Nielsen, Supervisor Stephanie May, Maintenance Kevin Finder and Clerk-Treasurer Valerie Windsor

Motion to approve April 15, 2024 minutes as mailed was made by S. May, 2nd by S. Nielsen.  Approved.

Treasurer’s Report:                 Balance on hand, April 1, 2024                $18,382.78

April Receipts                                              $34,147.09

April Disbursements                                  $19,616.24

Balance as of April 30, 2024                    $32,913.63

Motion to approve Treasurer’s Report as sent was made by S. Nielsen, 2nd by S. May.  Approved.

Motion to approve Vouchers and Checks was made by S. May, 2nd by S. Nielsen.  Approved.

Maintenance Report:  Received a rate for brush mowing, we will talk about this next month.

Kevin talked to Rusch about the sign again and still hasn’t heard anything back.

80th Street and 130th work.  $37,000 for asphalt and maintenance, AMP

$58,000 Includes asphalt, maintenance and the space between the two areas, Monarch Paving

$58,000 includes asphalt and maintenance, ACI

$29,762.00 Dunn County, only includes asphalt and maintenance, Kevin figured it would be roughly $46,500 for them to do the middle area between the two areas.

Motion was made to go with Dunn County and have them for sure do the 3 spots that was in the original bid and Kevin will contact Dunn County and see about them doing the middle area as well by S. Nielsen, 2nd by S. May.  Approved.

Chairman Report: None

Supervisors Report: None

Clerk-Treasurer Report: I received the annual statement for WTA, was wondering if we want to pay the $50 extra for the online video subscription so board members wouldn’t have to go to the meetings if it didn’t work out. Val will pay this extra fee.

Received an email about the ADU’s for county zoning, they would like a response if we are a “yes or no”.

Building Permits:  None

Committee Reports:  No fire or ambulance meetings this month. Received an email from Ambulance District with Financial Reports as well as the Chief Report.  All is “normal”.

No New Business
