Board meeting minutes of March 20, 2023
Chairman Nielsen called the meeting to order at 7:05pm at the Stanton Town Shop, Knapp, WI.
Present: Chairman Nielsen, Supervisors Karl Hackbarth and Stephanie May, Clerk-Treasurer Val Windsor, Maintenance Kevin Finder.

Motion to approve February 20, 2023 minutes as written by K. Hackbarth, 2nd by S. Nielsen. Approved.
Treasurers Report: Balance as of Feb. 1, 2023 $29,232.59
February Receipts $632,748.61
Less February Disbursements $642,969.61
Book Balance as of Feb. 28, 2023 $19,011.59
Motion to approve Treasurer’s Report was made by S. Nielsen, 2nd by S. May. Approved
Motion to approve Vouchers and Checks was made by S. Nielsen, 2nd by S. May. Approved.
Maintenance Report: Truck is still having issues. They still can’t get the part it needs. Kevin, Karl and Steve will be going to Mid-States Trucking to talk to them about what is going on and hopefully someone will be there that can tell them something. Kevin called Dustin with the County, they will help us out if necessary, either by loaning us a truck or sending someone out to help. A few residents are dumping snow onto the road again, it is dangerous. We will send out a letter at the beginning of next snow season to remind people. Road Inspection will be set next month.
Chairman Report: Steve has been travelling the town roads, he thanked Kevin for doing a great job.
Supervisors Report: Stephanie is going to the WI Town’s Association meeting on April 1st in Cumberland.
Clerk-Treasurer Report: Election is set to go for April 4th.
Open Book is scheduled for April 12, 2023 1:30pm-3:30pm and Board of Review is May 11, 2023 6:30pm-8:30pm
Annual Meeting will be next month
Committee Reports: Ambulance didn’t have a meeting, Clerk sent out the financial paperwork, all looks normal. Chief sent out a report. New Ambulance has been ordered. The next meeting will be April 12th.
Fire District had a meeting this month. They approved Matt Lunderville as the new Chief and he accepted. Karen Adams put in her resignation as clerk-treasurer effective March 6th. They have formed a committee to hire a new clerk-treasurer. They have also put an ad in the paper. Cory Green is continuing to be a fire fighter and is helping out the new chief.
Building Permits: None
No New Business: next month we will be talking about the roll off day and fees.
