Motion to approve Vouchers and Checks was made by S. May, 2nd by K. Hackbarth.  Approved.

Maintenance Report: Kevin is not here due to being sick this last week and is gearing up for this next week’s bad snow storm.

Chairman Report:  Spectrum is finishing up burying their line on 950th.

Supervisors Report:  Both supervisors attended the WI Town’s Association meeting held in Menomonie.

Karl spoke with Dustin (Dunn Co. Hwy.) and they will continue to provide salt/sand for all townships despite the rumor that they would be stopping this.

Question was asked about Edhlunds building going up, it is under County Zoning, so ultimately it is up to them. Karl is trying to get an appointment with the County Zoning Administrator to get a handle on what is going on.

Clerk-Treasurer Report: Town of Lucas is wondering if they can use Town of Stanton as an alternate location for an Election Day Emergency Response plan. Val will let them know they can.

Received a bill from Boyceville Fire District for a vehicle accident that happened in our township, the people do not live in our township though and I don’t have an address for them.  So I guess we will just pay the $250 charge.

Committee Reports: No fire/ambulance meetings.  Ambulance January recap paperwork was emailed out.

Building Permits:  None

No New Business

Public Comment:  Tim Stauffer is here to have us sign an operator’s license for him to be able to serve alcohol at an event.  Even though we are remaining a dry township, the county is requiring him to have a bartender’s license.  Tim just copied the Village of Knapp’s license onto a jump drive and gave it to Val.  Val will modify this to read “serving of alcohol” instead of “sale of alcohol” and sign it.

Motion to adjourn meeting was made by S. Nielsen, 2nd by S. May.  Approved.

Meeting adjourned at 8:04pm
