Maintenance Report: Kevin called Lisa with GFL because there is always so much garbage laying on the ground on Monday morning. Kevin also spoke with the driver and he told Kevin he would pick up twice a week. Because we got the smaller dumpsters, they don’t have the larger ones available right now. This will not be an extra charge for us. We could possibly look at getting another dumpster for cardboard only as that would save a lot of room.
Waste Management called Kevin about an outstanding bill (see Clerk’s report), Kevin reminded them we still had the old dumpsters. They came and picked them up this last week.
24-7 is in our township working on the fiber line. They are currently on 280th Street.
Chairman Report: Received a call about the 24-7 Telcom fiber, got a map of tentative plans.
Supervisor Reports: None
Clerk-Treasurer Report: I received an email from Wipfli, they will no longer doing township audits due to staffing. They said they would submit any past reports/paperwork, if needed, to a new auditor once we select one. Val will reach out to other townships and see who they use.
Also have received several more bills from Waste Management, the last one being for $41.09. I am showing we are all caught up, I will not be paying this.
Committee Reports: No Plan Commission or Fire Meetings. Ambulance meeting went well. Shortage of EMT’s are a state wide issue.
