Board Meeting minutes of December 20, 2021
Chairman Anderson called the meeting to order at 7pm at the Stanton Town Shop, Knapp, WI
Present: Chairman Anderson, Supervisors Karl Hackbarth and Steve Nielsen, Maintenance Kevin Finder and Clerk-Treasurer Valerie Windsor
Pledge of Allegiance
Motion to approve November minutes was made by S. Nielsen, 2nd by K. Hackbarth. Approved.
Motion to approve Budget Hearing was made by K. Hackbarth, 2nd by S. Nielsen. Approved.
Treasurer’s Report: Balance as of November 1, 2021 $17,790.36
November Receipts $92,163.87
Less November Disbursements $97,593.36
Book balance as of Nov. 30, 2021 $12,360.87
Motion to approve Treasurer’s Report was made by S. Nielsen, 2nd by K. Hackbarth. Approved.
Motion to approve Vouchers and Checks was made by S. Nielsen, 2nd by B. Anderson. Approved.
Maintenance Report: Storm on Wednesday/Thursday, Kevin was out cutting trees. Kevin noticed a truck on one side of the road and a boat on the other. Someone stopped later in the afternoon and told Kevin the boat had been stolen and he wondered where it went. Kevin didn’t have any idea.
Chairman Report: Kevin is having problems with his phone, he has been to Verizon three times, but it still shuts off and restarts for no reason.
Supervisor Reports: Kevin is doing a great job with the roads in this weather.
Clerk-Treasurer Report: I will be transferring money from the freedom/machinery account to cover us until the end of the year. I will put it back in when we get taxes in January.
Building Permits: None
Committee Reports: Fire/Ambulance Meeting-the final assessment was given for the fire district. The fire district would like to replace a couple trucks in 2024.
Ambulance is currently working on a policy for tuition reimbursement.
