Maintenance Report: Finished up 770th Ave. Roll off day will be either October 10th or 17th, Kevin will call in the morning and see what date will work best. Kevin talked to the garbage hauler again, they have been bought out. Garbage and Recycling are FULL every week. We will need to reassess to see what we’ll need to do. TV’s and Tires could be an issue as Menomonie Solid Waste will be closing and that is who we always took them to.
Bob received a call from Dan Nelson, Kevin and Bob met with him, he would like the road to meet his driveway and raise up so he doesn’t need to put a culvert in. Dan got ahold of Davis’. We will need to get ahold of Century Link to see about moving their lines.
Chairman Report: Bob will call Dunn County Solid Waste and Recycling and find out exactly what is going on as far as them staying open for certain things to be taken in on certain dates.
October 3rd-Boyceville Fire District will be having an ATV/UTV ride starting at Buckshots. Things seem to be going well with the new fire hall. Ambulance is doing well, Kissh finished up replacing the lighting in the bay. “Andy the Ambulance” is being sold to Marshfield Fire Dept, they have $4000 raised already, the ambulance district will take this amount and deliver it to them and have Marshfield pay us the $1500 as they get it.
Lucas Chairman, Gene Ringer called Bob and asked about going in with Town of Stanton for trash and recycling. Bob told him we are not interested in taking on the additional responsibilities and trying to “expand” our lot to accommodate them.
Josh Edhlund was at the Board of Adjustment meeting asking for a variance on how close his building/fence is to the line. Bob hasn’t heard anything from him or the county on the decision made.
Supervisor Reports: Kevin is doing a fenominal job with the mowing.
Clerk-Treasurer Report: Absentee ballots are in full swing, so far I have mailed out 110. Motion to accept the clerk report was made by B. Anderson, 2nd by S. Nielsen. Approved.
Committee Reports: See chairman report
Building Report: None
No New Business
Public Comment: Eric was asking if we’ve decided anything on the ordinance for the ATV/UTV routes. Bob has called a few people, Dave Bartlett, Sheriff Kevin Bygd, Travis Meyer.
Eric stated he has heard they will doing a revote as more townships have decided to go with the 24/365.
Our township has no problem on going with the 24/365, however because we were originally told all townships needed to be in agreement we went with the dusk/dawn. Because we are under county ordinances, we will be going with whatever the county does as we have NO enforcement on our own. When we have another county meeting or towns association meeting doing another vote, then we will consider changing our vote to 24/365.
The ATV/UTV association is currently working on getting townships to adopt the ordinance, after the ordinance is passed then they will work on getting the routes rewritten.
Motion was made to adjourn was made by K. Hackbarth, 2nd by S. Nielsen. Approved.
Meeting adjourned at 8:11pm
