June meeting minutes

Board Meeting minutes of June 15, 2020

Chairman Anderson called the meeting to order at 7pm at the Stanton Town Shop, Knapp, WI.

Present:  Chairman Anderson, Supervisors Karl Hackbarth and Steve Nielsen, Maintenance Kevin Finder, Clerk-Treasurer Val Windsor

Motion to approve May minutes was made by K. Hackbarth, 2nd by S. Nielsen.  Approved.

Question on UTV/ATV’s MPH should be 35mph not 55mph

Treasurer’s Report:                 Balance as of May 1, 2020                        $44,183.54

May Receipts                                               $3,864.91

Less May Disbursements                          $14,275.31

Balance as of May 31, 2020                     $33,773.14

Motion to approve Treasurer’s Report as mailed was made by B. Anderson, 2nd by K. Hackbarth.  Approved.

Motion to approve Vouchers and Checks was made by S. Nielsen, 2nd by K. Hackbarth.  Approved.

Maintenance Report:  Josh Edhlin requested a driveway permit as he will be putting in two horse riding areanas.  He will also be told he will need to contact Bob Colson and Joe Atwood to get needed permits.

First layer of rock on 770th.  Pulverizer will be there end of July, then it will be ready for more rock, then blacktopping next year.

Kevin has contacted all involved with the railroad crossing road damage. They haven’t gotten back to him, Kevin will go ahead and fix it.

Kevin got some different prices on road closed signs. Decker Supply wants $111.00/sign. Road Barricade is $220.00. Other companies were more.  Board consensus was to go ahead and get these signs purchased.

Chairman Report:  Bob ordered a portable distance meter for township to use. County no longer wants us to let them know mileage of roads to be fixed they want to know exactly how many feet.

Some discussion on upcoming referendum for Dunn County Solid Waste.

Supervisors Report:  Some discussion on last months driveway permit. It has been fixed now.

Clerk-Treasurer Report:  None

Committee Reports: Fire/Ambulance Report-Fire District got some things fixed and running that they were waiting on.

Ambulance is going well.  Andy Kissh is still the interim chief.
