Maintenance Report: Kevin talked with Dustin at Dunn Co. Hwy. he is sending in the paperwork on the road we fixed for LRIP, we should see that check for around $14,000 soon.
Kevin received a call from the Sheriffs dept and someone stole our road closed sign at 190th Street.
Our roads are quite damaged from the railroad crew where the train derailed. They should be taking care of the payment for fixing these roads.
Chairman Report: Bob gave an update on his health.
Supervisors Report: Karl attended the towns association meeting, quite a bit of time was spent on ATV/UTV trails. There will be another meeting on March 3rd at 7pm at the Dunn County Administrative Center. They have both the old and the new proposed ordinances for townships to look at. They have included dates/times for people to run on these trails. Eric is hoping for a 24/7 time frame with 365 Days/year. This is going to have to be a unanimous decision from all townships in order for it to pass. Snowmobiles currently can run 24/7 365/year as long as the trails are open. Our township will review everything before making a decision on this. Signage will stay the same. Eric is hoping our township will vote for the ordinance staying the same.
Dunn County Solid Waste-meeting on March 7th.
Census will come out in March.
Fee increases for Bridge Petitions.
Next Dunn Co. Associates meeting will be in April.
Clerk-Treasurer Report: Election for Tuesday is ready to go. This election is for Wisconsin Supreme Court and the Menomonie School Board. I don’t expect it to be a very high turnout. Val will talk with a few residents about possibly being election workers as my list right now is limited.
Open Book is set for April 15th 2-4pm and Board of Review is set for May 14th 6-8pm
Motion was made to accept Clerk’s report was made by B. Anderson, 2nd by S. Nielsen. Approved.
Building Permits: New Homes:
Jake Omeara, rough ins done and starting to sheetrock
Matt Johnson, Not much progress since under slab plumbing inspection
Ryan Mountin, Rough framing is near completion
Nathan Lehmann, rough construction is near completion
Pete Holmlund, has submitted a permit to build an addition
Committee Reports: Fire/Ambulance Report: Chief Feeny and wife Tessa are still under investigation, they are currently on paid administrative leave. Karl had opportunity to talk with a few other fire chiefs and asked questions about the foam they use for helping put out the fires. Currently Boyceville charges a flat fee for calls based on time spent, not broken down by materials used. Some of the other districts charge on materials used and time spent. Discussion will continue at the March Fire District meeting.
No New Business
Public Comment: Eric with the ATV/Snowmobile Club here to discuss trails (see above Supervisor report)
